Michael is the Leader of the Central office consulting practice. He works closely with both Fortune 500 companies and rapid growth organizations, guiding them from strategy through execution to leverage technology as a competitive advantage. Michael’s expertise spans a broad range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, technology, SaaS, private equity, energy, and professional services, where he has led digital and technology strategy development, operating model design, and large-scale digital transformations.
Before joining Metis Strategy in 2019 to open the firm’s Central office, Michael spent a decade at a global management consulting firm, where he developed deep expertise in digital strategy and technology transformation.
In addition to his consulting work, Michael is a frequent contributor to CIO.com and has spoken at several universities, including the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business, where he shares his insights on the evolving technology landscape. He is also a regular speaker at industry events and conferences, where his thought leadership covers key trends at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation, often drawing on his 15+ years of hands-on experience to highlight how companies can thrive in the digital age.
Michael earned his MBA from Cornell University and holds a Master’s in the Management of IT from the University of Virginia.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two kids. He lives in Dallas, TX.
