Jack Clare’s Biography
Jack Clare is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Strategy Officer at Dunkin’ Brands, a franchisor of quick service restaurants (QSRs) serving hot and cold coffee and baked goods, as well as hard serve ice cream. In his role, Jack leads the company’s IT department and oversees the long-term strategic planning process for the company. He describes both sets of responsibilities in this interview.
Prior to joining Dunkin’ Brands in 2012, Jack was the Vice President of IT and CIO for Yum! Brands’ International Division. He has also held roles at Constellation Brands and Sapient Corporation, after starting his career in the United States Air Force as a system and flight test engineer.
Jack earned his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Dayton, and an MBA from the University of California, Davis.

Mark is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Process Officer of Mondelez International, a $34 billion company formed in 2012 from what used to be referred to as Kraft Foods. In his role as Chief information and Process Officer, Mark is responsible for the company’s business process excellence leadership, the enterprise shared services, as well as the organization’s information systems and technology.

Celso Giuotoko’s Biography
Celso is the Alliance Global VP, Corporate Vice President, and CIO of the global corporate IS/IT function of Renault-Nissan, based in Yokohama, Japan. Among other responsibilities, Celso is responsible for managing Renault and Nissan’s IS divisions worldwide.
Prior to joining Nissan, Celso served as vice president of i2 technologies, a supply chain management software and services company, which he joined after leaving Toshiba Corporation’s semi-conducotr division in the US. Celso began his career as a system analyst at BRADESCO Brazilian bank in Sau Paulo, before eventually joining Andersen consulting (now Accenture) in 1985. With Andersen, Celso moved to Chicago and eventually Tokyo.
In addition to his activities in the business world, from 1986 to 1988, he became Assistant Professor for Information Technology, at the Universidade Estadual de Sao Paulo where he also supervised the Internship Programme.

Mike Gioja’s Biography
Mike is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Product Management & Development at Paychex Inc., a leading provider of payroll, human resource, and benefits outsourcing solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. With over 28 years of experience in product management and strategy, Mike is considered an impactful leader among many HR and technology colleagues in the realms of technology integration and emerging technologies, a topic we cover in some depth in this interview. Vic Bhagat’s Biography
Vic is Executive Vice President, Enterprise Business Solutions and Chief Information Officer at EMC Corporation. EMC is a global leader in data storage services and cloud computing. Vic joined EMC in January 2013 and is responsible for leading EMC’s Information Technology, Global Centers of Excellence, Global Business Services, and Indirect Procurement organizations.
During his more than 20-year tenure at GE, Vic served as CIO for multiple GE organizations including GE Aviation Services, GE Global Growth and Operations, CNBC, GE Corporate, and GE India and Southeast Asia. Along the way, he not only drove the company’s IT strategies, but managed large global shared service applications; built a technology center focused on high-end technology and digital solutions; and fueled GE’s global innovation opening numerous Centers of Excellence focused on Big Data, digital analytics and digital strategies.
Vic earned his Bachelor’s degree in Information Management and Marketing from the University of Louisville and a diploma in Physics and Mathematics from Agra University in India.
Bill is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the defending Major League Baseball World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, where he has worked since 1999. Bill served as Interim President of the Giants’ San Jose Class A affiliate in 2011 and since 2012, he has been on the team’s board of directors and serves as chairman.
An Olympic enthusiast, Bill is a board member of the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC) and served as a technology lead for San Francisco’s bids to host both the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.

Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Chris is the former executive vice president, Global Services, and chief information officer at Merck. In that role, Chris was responsible for the company’s information technology and global services functions, which included real estate; facilities services; Lean Six Sigma; shared business services; security; energy; travel and aviation. He was a member of Merck’s executive committee and reported to Merck’s president and chief executive officer.
Prior to his time at Merck, Chris served as senior vice president and chief information officer of International Paper (IP), managing information technology and telecommunications strategy, planning, and operations for the world’s largest paper and forest products company. He was a member of IP’s senior leadership team and the company’s eBusiness Steering Committee.
Prior to his time at IP, Chris was vice president and chief information officer at MAPCO, Inc. (now The Williams Co.), a Fortune 250 diversified energy company.
Chris is on the Board of Directors of IntraLinks and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and he serves on the AT&T Customer Advisory Council. He is a former board member of the Netezza Corporation and past Honorary Conference Chair for the National Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA).
Chris received his bachelor’s degree in management science and computer systems from Oklahoma State University and completed the executive development program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
