Data & AI in Real Estate: Johnson Controls CTO Vijay Sankaran on the Future of Work

Vijay Sankaran is the Chief Technology Officer of Johnson Controls, a 135-year-old global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings that earns in excess of $25 billion in annual revenue. Vijay has been in his role for roughly two and a half years and leads a global organization of 2,500 software engineers and technologists with responsibility for software engineering, building management systems across video surveillance, intrusion, access controls, and the company's OpenBlue software platform, which integrates telemetry and alerts across the building and space environment to provide analytical insights and optimization suggestions to its users leveraging machine learning and AI models. Prior to Johnson Controls, Vijay served as a Chief Information Officer at TD Ameritrade, among multiple other executive roles that he has held over his career.
