Mona Bates is the Chief Information Officer for Collins Aerospace, a business unit within RTX, formerly Raytheon Technologies, and a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry that earns in excess of $20 billion in annual revenue. Mona has been in her role for two years and follows her service as Vice President of Digital Technology and CIO for Raytheon Missiles & Defense as well as CIO for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems prior to the Raytheon merger with United Technologies Corporation in 2020. She has spent more than 20 years in the industry, and in her role at Collins Aerospace, she is leading a transformation to strengthen and secure the company's digital foundation, harmonize the company's system landscape and business processes, drive a data strategy, and digitize the Collins Aerospace product lifecycle. Before joining Raytheon, Mona held senior leadership positions at Boecore Inc. supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
