Atish Banerjea

Atish Banerjea is the chief information officer of Facebook, the social media behemoth with over 2.5 billion users and revenues exceeding $70 billion. As CIO, Atish is responsible for overseeing the global Enterprise Engineering organization, which builds and runs the systems that scale Facebook globally. Specifically, Atish oversees three key areas: the “build” organization, which builds many of the internal tools and products Facebook employees use to do their work effectively; the IT operations organization, which focuses on providing service to employees, and the infrastructure organization. Prior to joining Facebook, Atish was the EVP & CIO of NBCUniversal Media and he held the same role at Pearson.
